Dirt Devil Vacuum Kone – Vax
Unlike many of the other hand held vacs we have reviewed this vacuum kone is all about style. This vacuum is ideal for someone who enjoys aesthetic styling of the Dyson DC16 but does not want to spend over a $100.
As you can see from the image, the Vax vacuum Kone can easily be left on your coffee table and be seen as 'part of the furniture' The only problem we had with the Vax kone was it's small dust compartment. As it does have a very good suction it meant that you needed to empty it quite often. On the plus side, the Vax vacuum Kone only requires a simple 'twist and shake' to empty.
The Vax vacuum Kone has the ability to clean even the smallest areas with it's small nozzle that we even used for under the refrigerator.
Conclusion
There is no denying that the Vax vacuum Kone hand held vac does look good but if your looking for pure suction power look elsewhere - Dyson DC16 or Eureka. However the Vax vacuum Kone is priced well below most other hand helds. This is for someone who needs a good looking hand held to pick up general household spills.
