Dirt Devil Handheld – Scorpion 8220
When looking at the convenience of a handheld vacuums we want a handheld vac that is able to provide portability and ease matched with a decent amount of suction.
The Dirt Devil Handheld vacuum has achieved the perfect mix between a using a wet towel and your heavy duty vac.
The Dirt Devil Handheld makes easy work of every type of dirt that we used it on. The shoulder strap allows the dirt devil handheld to achieve some of the best portability that we have seen in any of the other machines we have reviewed.
To be honest based on its price ($26.19 with free shipping on Amazon), we did expect to see poor suction. However once we started testing, we had problems with the dirt devil sucking up too much ( as it sucked up everything and anything in its path including pennies, plastic bags?)
OK so its not cordless which could explain the cost ? but it has such a long cord that we didn?t have any problems. If you really require the benefits of a cordless matched with the Dirt Devils suction power, you will need to spend at least $100.
I have two dogs and a few birds, and the Dirt Devil handheld is able to easily pick up dog hair and even bird feathers!
If you’re just plain lazy to manage using a cord then avoid this machine and go for something like the Dyson DC16. We believe this Dirt Devil hand-held vacuum is for the strong, brave, and powerful!
